The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Monday, January 24th, were as follows Spirits, JSI63 10s 6d ; wine, .£2B 15s 6d; sugar, £25 7s Gd ; goods by weight, £35 16s 5d ; •d volorem, £l7 15s ; other duties, £2 8s sd. Total, £273 13s 4d. At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Board, held at Christchurch, on Monday, January 24th, sales were made as follows : Ordinary—Ashley, 1178 a. 2r. 18p.; Sslwyn, 51a. 2r.; Akaroa, 2a. Ir. Bp.; Vincent, 20a. Total acreage sold. 1252 a. Ir. 2Gp.; total value, £2504 16s Gd. Esfonds were made on account of former purchasers in the sum of £912 Is 6d.
