LICENSED VICTUALLERS’ ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting, for the nomination of the officers and committee of the Licensed Victuallers 4 Association was held at Morton’s Hotel last evening at eight o’clock. Thera was a full attendance. The president of the association (Mr J. W. Morton) occupied the chair. The following nominations were received :—President, Mr J. W. Morton; vicepresident, Mr H. Allen ; hon. treasurer, Mr J. Barlow; solicitor, Mr B. D. Thomas; secretary, Mr C. W. Greenwood. Committee—Messrs Oookson, Bavenhill, Deal, Stoning, Richardson, Godso, Hiorns, Kiddey, Morling, Eox, Bowler, Plummer, Coker, Toovey, J. Johnston, G. Collier, H. Garland, A. McDonald (Lyttelton), Roberts (Rangiora), H. Keane (Lyttelton), Of these five will he elected in April next! Messrs Johnston and Deal wore elected auditors. After some routine business had been transacted, the meeting adjourned. Some discussion took place with reference to the annual pionio, and it was ultimately decided that it should be held during Easter week.
