MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
OHRISTOHUROH. ITbidat, December 10. [Before J. L. Lee and J. T. Brown. Etqs., J.P.'s.J Dbttnkesbss.—Mary Ann White and Ohas. Doyle were fined 20a each. Fighting, &o.—Jessie Chambers, Bella Craig, and Alice Greaves, prostitutes, who forcibly entered a brothel kept by Eliza Blackmore, broke a pane of glass, and used obscene language, were fined as follows: Chambers 325, Craig 24?, and Greaves 245. A case against Alice Greaves for assaulting Eliza Jane Bates was dismissed. Unmbhtiokablb Obfbkoh.—Henry Francis Evans, brought up on remand charged with a disgusting offence in four cases, was committed for trial at the coming sessions of the Supreme Court. Bail was named at himself in £2OO, and two sureties of £l5O in each case. Civil Cask.—J. Murphy v Hodgson. Mr Hellish, who presided for the ocoasion, now gave judgment for the plaintiff for £3 13s 2d and coats.
