MATCHES TO COME. The following will play for the Addington Cricket Club in their matches with the Shirley and Sunnyside Cricket Clubs on Saturday, commencing at two o’clock : —Against the Shirley— Messrs C. Bayman, W. Clarkson, T. Hooper, J. Hopper, G. Hepworth, W. Hepworth, J. Mayne, J. Nevin, C. Strange, C. Taylor, E. Turner. Against the S.S.C.—-R. Beattie, J. Beattie, G. Dixon, E. Dewsbury, B. Jackson, W. Lodge (captain), A. Milford, S. McMnrray, A. McCormick, J. Parker, G. Wells. Emergencies—A. Aulsebrook, W. Atkinson. The following will represent the Press Club in their match against the second eleven of the M.C.O.C. on Saturday next: —Ashbolt, Andrews, W. G. Atack, Board, Brunt, Coatley, Coles, Edmonds, French, Gray, and W. H. Smith. Emergency—Cant. _ The following will represent the Midland Club on Saturday and following week against the Press Club: —Messrs Atack, Alpe, Wood, Macdonnell, Monck, Morice, Fairhnrat, Grossman, Buchanan, Bell, sen., and Gretton ; emergency. Stand. This match will be played on the Midland ground. The following will play against Avonville on Saturday Messrs O’Callaghan (captain). White, Bill, Hunt, Kitchin, Dighy, Shireff, Palairet, Dunbar, Edser, Williams, Cox, Reese and Bell, jnn. This match is for one day only, and will be played on the Press Club ground, opposite the Hospital. The eleven will be taken from the most punctual arrivals. The following will play for the C.C.C. against Sunnyside on Saturday next on the Christchurch i’round :—Messrs Anson, Booth, Caygill, Fisher, Forsyth, Lawrence, Marshall, Turner, Wigataff,:Washer and Wheatley Scott and Hepburn. Players are requested to turn up sharp at two o’clock.
