The Cession of DulcignoNotwithstanding the consent given by the Albanian chiefs to the cession of Dulcigno, the citizens are rebelling against the decision, and ask that a months’ delay may be granted in which to undertake the surrender. Dervisch Pascha, the Turkish commander, refuses to grant any further delay, and threatens to use force to make the immediate transfer of the town to the Montenegrins. YIENNA, November 13. The Earthquakes at Agram. Further severe shocks of earthquake have been experienced at Agram, which has suffered most terribly. Half the town has been completely destroyed. LONDON, November 12. Wheat Afloat. The total quantity of wheat afloat for the United Kingdom is 1,970,000 quarters. The Money MarketThe Bank rate of discount is 2J per cent., the market rate of discount being 2 per cent. The Nhilista who have been put on their trial for the Winter Palace explosion have received sentence—five have had sentence of death passed on them; eleven are sentenced to various terms of labor in the Siberian mines; six are recommended for mitigated punishment.
