MAIL NOTICES.
Mails olora at the Chief Post Office for tbe following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11. For Australian Colonies, to connect with Te Anau at Bluff, per express at 7 a.m. Lato fee letters may be posted in the travelling post office attached to the express train. For Northern ports and Australian colonies per Arawata.at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard's van, 4 5 p.m. train. For Akaroa and Otago, per Taiaroa, at 5.30 p.m.; late fee letters, 5.45p.m. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17. For the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only) Continent of Europe, Point de Galle, India, the East, Aden, Mauritius, Natal, Cape of Good Hope, Suez, the Mediterranean Porta, Australian Colonies, &c, per oxpress train, to connect with'a.s. Rotorna, at Bluff, as follows: — Ordinary letters at 7 a.m.; boobs and newspapers at 6 a.m.; registered letters at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, the 16th November; money orders at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, 16th Novembor. Late fee letters may be posted in the travelling Port Office van attached to the express train on Wednesday, 17th November. This mail will be due in London on January 6th, 1881.
Note.—The Brindisi letter rate of postago "or the United Kingdom is 8d per half-ounce. gXDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
