TRAINING NOTES.

By Sinead. Yesterday morning Ohaffe was the first out, and sent Atlantic and Nautilus once round, Outts sending Sir Garnett and Hilda the same distance, the pair being followed some way off by Sir Modred. The Yaldhurat team wore on the ground for the first time, and Lara, having been stripped at the far side of the course, was started at a moderate pace, Pisoatorious, also stripped and with Nolan up, following in his track. They went once round in this way, but when they had gone a mile and a half the son of Fanny Fisher joined Lara, and the pair finished another circuit at a clipping pace, Pisoatorious, however, blowing a good deal during the journey. Billlingsgate, piloted by Nolan, and. Randwick (both stripped) went once round at a good pace. Amulet (in clothing) and Sinking Fund (stripped) went a mile in company, Norseman and Amy subsequently covering the same distance, as likewise did Miss Domett. Luna went twice round (stripped). Mr Redwood's pair of youngsters, Dauphin and Flap Jack, went a mile in clothing, as did also Lone Hand. York and Adamant were sent once round, Levant (with Rudings in the saddle) and Tera going the same distance, Mr Goodman’s filly again moving very short. The Crisis Lodge team now put in an appearance, and Mischief (with Clark up, in colors) and Hornby (with Webster up), both stripped, went once round at a top speed, Fuller, on The Governor, following on their heels. After completing once round the filly was pulled off, and Hornby and the Governor went on for another round at half speed, Hornby moving much better than he has done for some time past. Nonpareil and La Mode (the former with Webster up, in colors) went a mile and a half. The best gallop of the morning was that of Foul Play and Mario Antoinette, who, the former being piloted by Derrett and the latter by Rudings, covered two miles, in clothing, at a clinking pace, both moving in capital form. Derrett then mounted Natator, and with Rudings on On Dit for a companion, both stripped, went a good two mile gallop. Webb was the last to appear, and after Eugenie and Blue Jacket, both stripped, had gone two miles, Badsworth and Holdemesse were started at the top of the straight. The Derby Colt was very fretful at starting, but on warming up to bis work moved better than he has lately done, but Holderneese cut it opposite Cutts’, and Badsworth wont once round by himself, finishing well and strongly. Holdernssse was put through the same performance, and the morning’s work was brought to a close by Virginia Water (stripped) going once round at a steady pace.
