The month has been fine and seasonable, at times sultry ; stormy weather on the 2nd, 7tb, Btb, and 24th ; on the 9th a hard frost, doing considerable damage to the early vegetation ; on eight mornings tho thermometer on the ;rass registered below freezing point; there have been twenty-three fine days during the month ; prevailing winds S.W. and N.E. ; tho rainfall has been in excess of the same month of previous five years.
