At the usual sitting of the Waste Lands Beard, held at Christchurch on Monday, November Ist, sales were made Ordinary : Akaroa, 63 acres ; Ashburton, 5 acres 3 roods 34 perches. Village settlements, deferred payments, 3 acres. Total acreage sold 73 acres 3 roods 34 perches. Total cash received, £144 18s 6d. Befnnds on account of former purchases were made in the amount of £42 15s 3d. The amount collected for beer duty stamps at Christchurch on November Ist was £462 15s Id.
