There was an immense concourse of spectators, estimated at over 100,000. The conrse, it is believed, has never before been so crowded. The Marquis of Normanby, Sir Wo. Jsrvois and the Duke of Manchester were present. Q-rand Flaneur winning the Cup makes it hard on the bookmakers, as be has been largely hacked on doubles. Flaneur has never yet been beaten, and his victory to-day was very popular.
