November 3rd, 1880. The following are copies of telegrams received by Mosers P. Cunningham and 00. from the various correspondents in Canterbury to-day:— Barfield—ll a.m., steady B.W. rain all night; showery at present; no signs of clearing. Rakaia—lo.so a.m., raining during night; now dull and showery. Ashburton—Seven hours rain ; weather clear ; glass rising; 12 o’clock. Titnaru—ll.4B a.m., weather fine ; every appearance of continuing so. Oatnaru—l2.2 p.m , weather gloriously fine, and likely to c-ntinue so
