A pretty race, Camelia made the running, bat was overtaken at the mile by Messenger, who took a commanding lead and staved off a determined rush by Chandler. Handicap Hurdles, £SO. King Don... ... (McElwain) 1 Grey Momus 2 Old Ireland 3 Ten started, A very close race. King Don jumped magnificently, and beat Momus for pace. Lady Mary and Leotard fell, the rider of the firstnamed being hurt.
