Imposing on a Publican. —Alfred Opie was charged with imposing on Alfred Hardecke, of the Albion Hotel, by calling for two drinks, for which, in place of paying the landlord, he insulted him, struck him on the nose, and called his wife improper names. The police said prisoner bore an indifferent reputation, and, in the face of six previous convictions, ho was sent to gaol for fourteen days with hard labor.
