PROSECUTION OF NINE MEMBERS OE PARLIAMENT.

LONDON, October 25,

In consequence of the serious nature of the action which is being taken by the Irish Land League and the increasing agitation in Ireland, Government have decided to prosecute Messrs Parnell, Dillon, Kelly, Biggar, Sexton, T. Sullivan, A. Sullivan, T. P. O’Connor and A. O’Connor, all members of the House of Commons, together with the officers of the League, for conspiracy. It is rumored that the trial will take place in London.

LONDON, October 25 Mr Parnell’s Ideas-

Mr Parnell made a speech at Galway, in which he stated that he considered the House of Lords and Mr Forster, Chief Secretary for Ireland, were answerable for the murders which have been committed. He farther believed that the sole remedy for the state of affairs which at present existed in Ireland was local autonomy. The Greek Question.
