A brig was signalled from the South when our despatch left Port, supposed to be the Moa, from Port Chalmers, with a cargo of stone for the graving dock. The ketches Isabella and Prince Bupert, both from Catlin’s River, arrived this morning. The Sarah and Mary, brigantine, arrived from Bluff this morning. The s.b. Taiaroa arrived in harbor this morning from Dnnedin. 'lhe Edwin Bassett was berthed at No. 5, the Ocean Bird and Acsdell at No. 6, the Frank Gny and Richard and Mary at No. 7 jetties yesterday. THE OPAWA. The New Zealand Shipping Oompa y’s ship Opawa, from London via Plymouth, was signalled at dnsk yesterday. She left Plymouth on the fifth of August with 205 immigrants, equal to about 190 statute adults. The immigrants are for the most part nominated by friends in the colony, and consist almost alto, get her of single women. The Opawa has made the excellent passage of eighty, one days from her last port of departure. The Health and Immigration Officers will make their official visit this morning, after which, all being well, the ship will come in at once to a berth at the Gladstone Pier. The vessel has a general cargo, particulars of which are given elsewhere, and after discharging she will lead for London, to follow the company’s ship Waitangi, which is to leave this month. POET OF SUMNEE. Sailed—October 25. Gipsy, ketch, 13 tons, Mathews, with stores, far Leßou’s Bay. Minnie, ketch, 17 tons. Green, for Amuri. SHIPPING TELEGEAMS. Poet Chalmers, October 25. For Wellington : Mrs Mansford and two children, Mr Pearce. For the Manuhan : Mr and Mrs Wilson and four children, 10 steerage for all porta. Bluff, October 26. The Eingarooma left Melbourne on the 19th, at 2.30 p.m. ; arrived at Hobart Town on the 21st, at 10.20 a m.; sailed at 2.30 p.m., and arrived at the Bluff to-day, at 4a m. She sails for Dnnedin at 5 p.m. She experienced strong B.E. galea and high cross seas, and had to heave-to for twelve hoars. Saloon Passengers— For Bluff—Mr Tapper, Mr and Mrs Warden, Mr and Mrs Eaymond, and six steerage. For Dnnedin —Messrs Chambers, Tweed, Hamilton, MoFarlane, Power, Henderson, Block, Scott, McKenzie, Morney, Captain Fernand, Misses Howard and Leghorn, and twenty-four steerage. For Lyttelton—Messrs Manning and two sons, Hole, Osborne, Miller, Grattan, Bigg (the Irish comedian), Bankart, Taliecarue, Empson, Misses Smith (2), Hedderwick and maid, and seventeen steerage. For Wellington—Messrs Nolan, Barton, Sutherland, Peart (2), Mrs Peart, Major Teachemaker, and nine steerage. For Auckland—Mrs Partridge, Mrs La Eocbe, and fifteen steerage.
