CHALET AND CASS.
To the hditor of the Qldbe.
Sib, —I feel somewhat ashamed to see how little Mi Cass thinks of consistency. Here,, one day we see this estimable gentleman stand by religious dogmas of the most pro* nonneed i»m and ran up his standard fearlessly in the stormy breeze of infidelity now--a-days disturbing the modern atmosphere. But, lo and behold ! all at once Mr Casa takes “ the sharp curve ” and joins Mr Chalet in his ungodly work of dabbathbreaking J Of course, Mr Editor, it is easy to perceive from the tenor of Mr Cass’ letter, which appeared in this morning’s Peess, that he is m league with Bob Ingersoll’s ventriloquistie exponent. The thing is “ too thin " (or too fiat), as our American cousins would call it. Will some one be found to interview Mr Casa in this matter, and prevail -upon him to resume once more the peculiar position he has temporarily deserted. Tours, <ko., VAL. VOX.
