RANGIORA WESLEYAN CHURCH.

The annual meeting in connection with the Home Mission was held on Friday evening, and was fairly attended. Mr W. H. Foster occupied the chair. The report was then read by the superintendent minister, the Rev. J. A. Taylor, who informed the meeting that it was expeoted to raise £35 by the circuit. The chairman then introduced the deputation, the Rev. J. J. Lewis, of Waimate, who gave an interesting address on Mission work, and urged upon all the necessity of supporting this fund. The Be v. S. J. Garlick then addressed the meeting upon the same subject, and gave a resume of his work on the West Coast. Several anthems were rendered during the evening by the choir; Miss Hunnibell ably presiding 'at the organ. On the the Sunday following, mission sermons were preached in the morning by tho Rev. A. Beid, and in the evening by Mr Smith, of Ohristohurch. The total amount raised, including collections by the children, amounted to nearly £ll.
