Tho match on the Press ground, between the second eleven of the Press Cricket Club and the Bohemian 0.0., was playodon Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for the representatives of the Fourth Estate by 18 runs on the first innings. The spores were— Press, first innings, 84; Bohemians, 66. In tho second innings the Press team made 42 for nine wickets. Cant was the chief scorer for the Press, making a good score of 41, and in the second innings French played a lively 20, not out. For the Bohemians, MoLeary 13, Sheard 12, and Carlton 13, were the principal scorers. The bowling on both sides was good. Allardyoe and Ludford on the Press side, and Coles and Peacock on the Bohemian’s, being tho most successful. The match Avonville t Sydenham was played on Saturday last, and resulted in a win for the Avonville on the first innings by 14 runs. The following are the scores ; Sydenham, 23 ; Avonville, 37.
