Racing.
The following additional acceptance! for the Cup are annuounced:—Mater, (First Water), Rivalry, Rothschild, and Totalisator. The total final acceptances are thirty-seven.
The Exhibition.
The conversavione at the Exhibition last night was a complete sticcess. Thirteen thousand persons were present. The building was illuminated by electric lights. Many courts, including the New Zealand, were closed. The question of opening the Exhibition at night is being much discussed. Sir Herbert the British Commissioner, has protested against it being done.

The Suez Mail
Arrived—P. and O. Co.'s steamer Maliva, from Galle, with the inward Suez mail, which left Londcm on September 10th.
