[PER PEKBB ASSOCIATION SPECIAL WTEE.J NEW PLYMOUTH, Octobers. The Hinemoa baa arrived with the Native# who were liberated at Dunedin. Large gatherings assembled on the beach to witness their return, amongst whom were about forty NatPos. As the boat approached the beach the Native women commenced a song of welcome, accompanied by tbe waving of shawl* and scarves. Contrary to expectation, no answers to these demonstrations were given by the Natives in tba boat, who landed in a very quiet manner, not evincing the least gladness. After they had landed from the boat with their swags and blankets they proceeded to the and were there welcomed alike by Europ ans and Maoris. They shook hands with not a few townspeople most cordially, and appeared well pleased at their kindly reception. After a few minutes' delay the Native* wended their way from the beach to the Native office, where the formal Native reception was accorded them in the shape of a tongi.
