THE ALL ENGLAND MATCH.

[per press association special wire.]

INVERCARGILL, September 17. The Melbourne papers to hand per Rotorua contain very lengthy accounts of the match All England Eleven v Australians, bpt owing to a pressure of other matter they cannot be wired in full. Telegraphing on the last day of the match the London correspondent of the “ Argus” says: —To-day all animosity against the Australians has disappeared, and the most cordial relations exist amongst cricketers. At the luncheon the chairman of the Surrey Club presented Murdoch with a bat for his grand innings, and Lord Harris at the conclusion of the match called for three cheers for the Australians, wishing them a good voyage home, to which there was a hearty response.
