An appeal is now being heard in the Supreme Court in the case of the New Zealand Insurance Company v. the South British Insurance Company, in which a verdict was given for the plaintiffs. MELBOURNE, September 10. Shipping. Arrived —Ringarooma from the Bluff. Payment of Members. In the Legislative Assembly last night the question of Payment of Members was carried by a majority of 42 to 20. All the amounts which were proposed were negatived. Sir H. Robinson. Sir H.
