THEATRE ROYAL.
"The Sole Survivor" was repeated last night at the Theatre Eoyal. The bill of fare provided for this evening seems to intimate that the management share the opinion expressed by Kose Evans some years ago as to the appreciation of high art by the playgoers of Ohristcouroh. It is a remarkably varied one, comprising as it does a pugilistic set-to, a walking matoh, "The Colleen Bawn," and the first stage of a prize fight. The greatest admirer of the "legitimate drama" could hardly ask for more. What poor Boncicault has done that he should be sandwiched between a mile walking matoh and a set-to between two professors of the noble art of solf-dofonoe, it is hard to say, but so it is. The new star who is expeoted will form rather a peculiar notion of the tastes of the playgoers, whose acquaintance he makes on Saturday, if he guages them by 1 the playbill for to-night at the Boyal,
