[PBB PBBSB ASSOCIATION SPECIAL WIEB.] AUCKLAND, August 20, Fatal Accident. A brakesman employed on the Kaipara railway fell off the trucks at Waitewita this morning, and the wheels passed over his legs, fracturing the thigh of one and nearly tearing off the foot of the other. He was taken to the Hospital, and died at noon. His name is John Kenny, but he was • known as Joseph Talbot, and was an unmarried man. INYEEOAEGILL, August 22. DrownedA man named J. Hardie was drowned in the Waiau river on Wednesday last. He was in a state of intoxication, and attempted to walk from a gravel spit to meet a boat which was coming towards him.
