The Admiralty have resolved to pay the widows of those who have been lost in the Atalanta a sum equal to a year’s pay of their late husbands. The Eemington will be cleared for London by Messrs P. Cunningham and Co. this morning, and take her departure. The Loch Awe, it is said, is going up to Portland, Oregon, to load. The Especnlador brings a cargo of timber from the Mannkau here._ The Aratapu was loading at the Kaipara mills for here on the 12th. SHIPPING TELEQEAMS. Bluff, August 23. The Tararua arrived at 11 a.m. She left Melbourne ou the 17th at 1.30 p.m., arrived at Hobart Town on the 19th at 8.30 a.m., and Bailed the same day at 1.30 p.m. She experienced fresh S.W. winds to arrival. Passengers— Saloon—For Bluff :Mr Graham, Mias Waugh, and one steerage. For Dunedin : Messrs Harris, Eintel, Smith, Gamer, Cleoghorn, and two steerage.
