SYDNEY EXHIBITION.
The certificates and medals for the Sydney Exhibition have arrived hero. The former is bordered with a handsome Greek key border, interspersed with shields. At the top of the certificate is a crown, with radiating rays from the oentre. On eaoh Bide of this crown is a representation of the emu and kangaroo. Around the sides of the certificate are medallions illustrative of husbandry, mining, &a. The medallions contain illustrations e>f sheep farming, cattle farming, coal mining, gold mining, and also the silver mining industry. At the foot are views of Bydney in the background, whilst in the foreground are representations of the various nations being orowned by New South Wales. Underneath this is a view of the Garden Palace. The medal has on one side New South Wales presenting a laurel wreath, with the emblems of Art and Manufacture at her feet, and on the obverse a wreath of corn, flowers, and fruit.
