THEATRE ROYAL.
A sensational drama, in five acts, entitled "The Kellys," and founded on the doings of the notorious gang of bushrangers, was produced at the Theatre Boyal last evening, the result being that the lower portions of the house were crowded to excess. The dialogue of the piece showed evidence that it had been hastily put together for the occasion, nor did the construction of the play exhibit any peculiar merit, but the names of the places, gang, and others associated with incidents pertaining to the outlaws, were all introduced. There was a vein of the ludicrous running throughout the piece and much morbid sentimentality, which carried it through.
