On the application of Mr Ootterill leave was granted to plead within twelve days. ASHTON T GBUBB. Mr Bruges applied heroin for order to proused with accounts and enquiries. His Honor made tho order, the Registrar to certify within three months. BBLXi T MOWN. In this case Mr Napior Bell was plaintiff, snd the declaration alleged that the defendant, as printer of the_ “ Rangiora Standard,” had published a libel on tho Harper, for plaintiff, now applied for an order settling issues, and fixing time and place of trial, Mr Joynt appeared for defendant. The issues os proposed were settled, with the addition of one as to whether thejnuendo as alleged was a libel, and the trial nxed for tho October sittings at Christchurch by special jury. BE 0. J. GAMMON. . Mr Joynt applied herein for the rescinding of on order, dated 25th June last, for the examination of the bankrupt before dis°hM>e’MoOonnel l on behalf of tho trustee, appeared to oppose on the ground, as stated in affidavits filed, that the bankrupt had become possessed of certain property in the North Island since the meeting of creditors at which his discharge was granted at the expiration of six months. , . Mr Joynt read several affidavits in reply, -denying that the bankrupt had become possessed of any property as stated. After some further argument, his Honor made an order directing that the order for examination prior to discharge be rescinded, tinless the trustee take steps to forthwith -examine the bankrupt, or show canse_ why the order should not be rescinded within six weeks. BB ALFEBD DBAKB. On the application of Mr Bruges, his Honor made the usual order of discharge.
