[REUTER’S telegrams.] LONDON, July 19. Loss of the Hydaspes. The well known Australian liner Hydaspes, 2093 tons, outward bound to Melbourne, came into collision with another vessel off Dungeness yesterday during a thick fog. The Hydaspes sunk shortly after the collision, but all the passengers and the crew were saved. Unseated. Mr J. G. Dodson, President of the Local Government Board, has been unseated, owing to corrupt practices. Afghan Affairs The correspondent of the “ Times ” telegraphs that the evacuation of Cabul has commenced. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 19. Turkey and Greece. The trouble between Turkey and Greece over the required cession of territory to the latter for the rectification of her frontier continues, and a strong warlike feeling is manifesting itself in both countries. Hobart Pasha, commander of the Turkish navy, refuses to fight tho Greeks. Tho Porte continues to make warlike preparations, and Turkish troops are being despatched in large numbers to the Dardanelles, where tho fortifications are being strengthened.
