John Conway, against ■whose- name there were three previous convictions, was charged with being drunk and disorderly, with resisting the police, and with using profane language. The Bench fined him £5, or two months' imprisonment with hard labor. Molesting- A Policeman. —Thos. Hunter wag charged with departing himself in such s manner as would be liable to provoke a broach of tho peace, on Monday night. Constable Oleary proved that the accused had interferred with him while on duty. There was % previous conviction for a similar charge, and that being the cate he was ordered to pay £2 op undergo forty-eight hours’ imprisonment.
