PROPERTY SALE.

At the sale rooms of Messrs H. Matson and Co. on Saturday last, the 17th instant, the usual sale of properties was held. The attendance was numerous, but there was little animation on the part of buyers or speculators. The first property submitted was a four-roomed house and 1 acre 1 rood at Woolston, which was bought in at .£3OO. The next followed was a quarter-acre town section, being part of 97, in Gloucester street East, with the partial framework and concrete foundation for a ten-roomed house, which was sold for .£350. The next was a quarter-acre, being town section No. 926, situate corner of Lichfield and Madras streets, with house and large store thereon, was passed at .£I2OO. Some sections on the Lincoln ad failed to find a purchaser.
