MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Pout Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — SATURDAY, JULY 17. For the United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, Weßt Indies, China, Japan (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, _ Northern Ports of New Zealand, Australian Colonies (except Tasmania), ac, per Hawea, as follows:—Ordinary letters, at 6,30 p.m.; late fee letters, at 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, at 6 p.m.; money orders, at 4 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard'B van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will bo due in London on August 3lßt. For Kaikonra, per Tui, at 7 p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. TUESDAY, JULY 20. For Northern ports and Australian colonies (oxcept Tasmania), per Wakatipu. The next mail outwards via Bnndisi will close at Christchurch at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, 28th July. Mail will bo due in London on 18th September. Notice. —The Post Office at Aylesbury is closed from 6th instant. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
