The barque Wild Wave hence arrived at Hobart Town July 7th, having made the rouni trip in thirty-two days between the two ports. The John Knox arrived at Sydney hence on Jnly Ist, and the Remington left there for this port on June 30th. m ■ , The Canoma was discharging at a pretty good rate yesterday. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Wellington, Jnly 16. Arrived—Merope, from London. Taranaki, Jnly 16. Tha "Herald's" Waitari correspondent wire 3 that the schooner Edith Reid, from Lyttelton, -frith 70 tons of cement, was becalmed on the bar em entering Waitara river last night, and touched first on the North Spit and afterwards on the South Spit, when she grounded. It was tried twice to get her off, and she is leaking a little. The cargo is insured, but not the vessel. Exertions will be made to float her this tide.
