Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — TUESDAY, JULY 13. For Otago, per Rotorua, at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern ports, perTaiaroa, at 3.15 p.m ; late letters, at 3.25 p.m. ; guard’s Ivan, 3.55 p.m. train. THUS S DAY, JULY IS. For Northern Porta and Australian Colonies, per Te Anan. SATURDAY, JULY 17, For tho United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, China. Japan (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, Northern Porta of New Zealand, etc., per Hawea, as follows: —Ordinary letters, at 6,30 p.m.; late fee letters, at 7 p.m.; books and newspapers, at 6 p.m,; money orders, at 4 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m. ; guard’s van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on August Slat. The next mail outwards via Brindisi will close at Christchurch at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, 28th .Inly. Mail will be due in London on 18th September.
