The schooner Jane Hannah has not yet put in an appearance from Gatlin’s River, so that the presumption amounts almost to a certainty that aho was the unfortunate vessel portions of which were lately found at Akaroa. An error crept into the local respecting this vessel in Saturday s iaena. The Jane Hannah was last here on June 4th. not April 271 h. and from an examination of her inwards entry made at the Customs on June 2nd, it appears she had three seamen for a crew, their names being given as A. Gordon, A. T. Lawson, and Peter Pillett, besides the master, E. Currie. , . ... The vessels last night lying at the various wharves were —At No. 1, /T,thelred, Geraldine Paget, Hudson. She experienced Strong S.W. winds during the passage. She Bails at 3 p.m. for Dnnedin. Passengers—naloon. for Blnff —Mrs Waddell, Messrs Evans and Thonery.
