Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (aubjaot to tha necessary alterations) as under SATURDAY, JULY 3. For Northern ports, per Wanaka, at 7 p m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. MONDAY, JULY 5. For Wanganui and Westport, per St. Hilda, at 9.50 a.m. ; late fee letters, 10.10 a.m. ; guard’s van, 10.30 a.m. train. For Northern ports, per Go-a-head, at 11.25
a.m, ; late fee letters, 11,35 a.m. ; guard's van, 12.10 p.m. train. TUESDAY, JULY 6. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Botomabana. THURSDAY, JULY 8. For Northern ports, per Tararua. "For Chatham Islands, per Omaha, leaving Auckland on July 15th.
