Gatlin, ketch, 46 tons, Matheson, for Timarn. Coif and Graham, agents. The ketch Clematis, lately in collision with the s.s. Rotorua, has been repaired, and yesterday cleared again for Wellington. The number of vessels that have sailed for -foreign ports from Lyttelton since January Ist of the present year to date (June 30th) _ is ninety, their total registered tonnage being ■63,673. Of the above number of vessels 44 have cleared for ports in the United Kingdom direct, as against 26 in 1879. _ Lust year there were 75 •clearances for Australian ports, vessels chiefly in ballast, and the bulk of them for Newcastle, N.S.W. To tho present date this year there lave been but 49 of such clearances, these being also chiefly for Newcastle, and composed nearly altogether of coal-carrying vessels, more or less regularly employed in the trade. The other foreign clearances this year, besides those above referred to, were-3 for Capetown, 1 for Mauritius, 1 for New Caledonia, and 1 for Guam. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, June 29.
