[eeuteb's telegeams.] COOKTOWN, June 25. The Chandernagore Emigrants. Her Majesty's schooner Conflict has arrived here from New Ireland, which place she visited on June the 10 th. Twenty-four of the original Chandernagore party were found to be sickly, sixteen have died, and the remainder are engaged as traders. The Genii had not arrived when the conflict left for Laughlin Island, where she called on June the 16th, and rescued seven of the Chandernagore party, who had been marooned and were starving. The Conflict brought them on here. ADELAIDE, Juno 24. Wheat and Flour. Wheat is at 4s to 4s Id, flour at 9s lOd to 10s. MELBOURNE, June 25. A Dissolution Decided On. A Cabinet Council was held to-day, when it was decided to ask for a dissolution. Mr. Service, the Premier, had an interview with the Governor, who will give his reply to-morrow morning. SYDNEY, Juno 25. Shipping. Arrived—S.S. Norfolk, from New Zealand. The Markets. Devoe's kerosene, Is 6d per gallon; maize, Is lOd to 2s per 601bs; candles, D.R.J. 15, 6|d to 7|d per lb.
