MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for" the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — SATURDAY, JUNE 26. For Northern ports, per Rotomahana, at 3.15 pm.; late fee letters, 3.25 p.m.; gnard’svan, 3.55 p.m. train. For Northern ports, per Hawea, at 7 p.m. The guard’s van must not bo used for this mail. TUESDAY, JUNE 29. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Ringarooma. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only), will be closed at Christchurch on July Ist, and will be due in Loudon on August 21st. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will bo closed at Christchurch on July 17. and will be due in London on August 31. Notice. —The post office at Springbank will be re-opened from 28th June, 1880. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
