Mails dose at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to tho necessary alterations) as under: — TUESDAY, JUNE 22. For Otago and Australian colonies, per Te Anau. at 1.50 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard’s van 2.40 p.m. train. THURSDAY, JUNE 21. For Akaroo, per Taiaroa. For Northern ports, per Eotomahana. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only), will bo closed at Christchurch on July Ist, and will bo due in London on August 21st. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will bo closed at Christchurch on July 17. and will be due in London on August 31.
