Dance, Wheatsheaf Hotel, Head of Bay ; William Howie, wine and beer license, Victoria Dining Rooms ; Henry Keene, Royal Hotel ; Andrew McDonald, Canterbury Hotel ; Maurice Molburn, Whi’eoliffs Hotel, Governor’s Bay ; Patrick O’Brien, Empire Hotel ; W. J. Simmonds, Lyttelton Hotel; P. Barry, Cambridge Hotel, an additional bedroom to be added ; A. H. Hardecke, Albion Hotel. Mr Nalder, for applicant, submitted plans of a now brick hotel, which he said would bo erected in place of the present one directly the lease of the present tenant expired, which would be in about six months. Applicant promised to see to complaints of the urinal being exposed. Mary Moynihan, Crown Hotel; renewed on condition that the drainage from cottages adjacent be attended to so as not to come into the hotel premises. J. McQuilkon, Railway Hotel ; applicant to have back premises cleaned up. Peter Connolly, British Hotel ; subject to carrying out alterations, papering and partitioning, also, repairs to roof. The Bench spoke of the ne essity that exited for tho ps-lioe occasionally getting samples of the liquor sold in the bars, and to have them analysed. They also complimented Sergeant Wilson upon tho complete report given of the houses.
