CITY COUNCIL ELECTION.—N.E. WARD.

To the Editor of the Globe. Sir, —Will you allow me to state that as a member of the City Council and a representative of the North-east Ward, I do not belong to any “little clique,” such as your correspondent “North-east Ward” would have the readers ot the Giobh believe. And I would farther state that I do not represent High street. As one of the representatives of the Northeast Ward I intend to give it my espeobl sttention, and will always while 1 have the honour to ba a member of the City Council, keep myself from oil any clique that would be likely in any way T to interfere with my freedom. Yours, &c., W. S, KING.
