Croydon Lass, schooner, 51 tons, Curran, for Wait apt. Master, agent. Surprise, brigantine, 165 tons. Boor, for Rockhampton. C. W. Turner, agent. The Dumfriesshire cleared yesterday for London, with the largest cargo but one of grain taken by* any vessel the present season. She was towed to the stream in the afternoon, and proceeds to sea to-day. A telegram was yesterday afternoon received by the harbor master from Professor Edwin, at Wellington, which stated that the probabilities were for bad weather from west to S.W., in other words that a S. W. gale was approaching. The Fleur de Lis is expected to put out the last of her coals to-day. The barque Elizabeth, Captain Lovett, arrived yesterday from Newcastle, after a good ran of eleven days. Cape Farewell was made on the 10th, and the Straits cleared the same day, getting a fresh northerly wind down to port. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Auckland, May 11. Sailed—Ada C. Owen, brigantine, for Wellington and Lyttelton-; s.s. Hawea, for the South. Passengers—For New Plymouth—Mrs and Miss Pharazyn, Mr Killey; for Wellington —Messrs D. R. Lnckie, Kenney, Rochefort; for Lyttelton—Messrs Chilmer, Nalson, Dowme, Saunders, Parkinson, Sir B Douglas. The s.s. Te Anan left Sydney on May 6th, at 3pm., and experienced a strong northerly gale, with heavy rain and sea during the whole of the passage. She arrived at Russell at 8 a m to-day. Passengers—For Lyttelton—Masters and Mr Barrell, Mrs and Mr Anderson and two children, Mr Harding, and 15 tons cargo; for Dunedin — 40 tons ; for Blnff—Mr Sheldrake, and 20 in the steerage for all ports. Port Chalmers. May 11. _ Arrived—Rotorua, s.s., from Melbourne, via Hobart Town and the Bluff. Sided—Anna, ketch, for Riverton; Edith Reid, schooner, for Lyttelton; Palmerston, ketch, for Invercargill; Janet Ramsey, schooner, for Gatlin’s River; Shag, s.s., for Gatlin’s River.
