WEDNESDAY, MAY 12. For Australian Colonies, per express train (to connect with s.s. Kingarooraa at Port Chalmers), at 7.30 a.m. THURSDAY, MAY 13. For Akaroa, per Taiaroa. For Kaikoura, per 'i'ui, at 4.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, 4.35 p.m. ; guard’s van, 5.25 p.m train. For Northern Ports, per Rotorua, at 7 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will bo closed at Christchurch on May 22nd, and will bo duo in London on July Cth. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (for correspondence specially addressed only), will be closed at Christchurch on June 3rd, and will be due in Loudon on July 24th. Notice.—The Post Office at the Weka Pass Railway Works has been re opened at Mr Woodhouse’s store. The Post Offices at Christchurch and Lyttelton will bo open every Saturday night, from half-past six until a quarter to eight o’clock, for the purpose of receiving Savings’ Bank deposits only.
