THEATRE ROYAL.

Tho opectaoular drama of " The Sea of Ice" was produced on Saturday evening at the Theatre Royal; The piece was excellently put upon tho stage, Mr Williams having painted some very good scenery indeed for it. The set of the ice field with the aurora borealis in the distance, changing at the end of the act to the open sea with a large ship in full sail was particularly deserving of commendation, and ensured Mr Williams a well-merited call. Miss Lizzie Morgan played the dual part of the captain's wife and Ogarita very fairly, and Miss Lizzie Laurence made a good Diana. Mr Boothman was the Carlos, but made the part somewhat too ruffianly. Mr Hydes played Barabas, and the other parts were fairly filled. To-night the same bill will be repeated.
