A CATHOLIC BOOK DEPOT.
To the Aditor of the Globe. Sis, —As many of your readers will be pleased to know the deep interest taken by Dr. Redwood, Catholic Bishop of the Diocese of Wellington, in the spreading of sound Catholic literature in their midst, perhaps you would consider the enclosed letter received by me of sufficient public importance as to give it a place in the columns of your valuable journal. Yours, &0., E. O’CONNOR. Christchurch, April 21st, 1880. [Copy.] Wellington, March 23ud, 1880. Our dear Mr O’Connor, — I most cordially give my patronage and blessing to your now undertaking—the establishment of a Catholic Book Depot at Christchurch I trust you will be able, by meaT s of it, to meet one of the greatest wants of Catholics in that part of my diocese, viz., a ready supply of sound Catholic literature. I remain, Yours devotedly in J. 0., FRANCIS REDWOOD, S.M.
