PECULIARITIES I LIKE IN SHEEP.
[_" Queenslander."J I like one -sitnout much frill; plain under the neck; also one that docs not carry the wool down to its nose and all over the face, but one whose wool leaves square off on reaching the eyo, leaving the remainder of the face covered with the softest of short wool reBembl ng in appearance and feel eider down. I like sheep whose wool is carried very full, with good character, down to the knee, and no further. I like a ewo without horns. I like a sheep broad across the shoulder and loins, not too much barrel, neither slahsided, but betwixt the two ; love in the ribs, and short legs. Collectively in flocks or paddocks I like to see sheep seied, and of the same age as near as possible, uniformity in size and condition, and all with the peculiarities above mentioned ; not one whose fleece opens down the back.
