MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under : TUESDAY, APRIL 13. For Northern ports, per Hawea, at 3.15 p.m : late fee letters, 3.25 p.m.; guard's van, 3.55 p.m. train. For Otago, per Botomahana, at 3.15 p.m ; late fee letters, 3.25 p.m.; guard,s van, 3.55 p.m, train. For Wanganui and Westport, per St. Kilda, at 1.50 p.m ; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2 40 p.m train. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14. For Australian Colonies, per express train, to connect with s.s. Botomahana at Port Chalmers, at 7.30 a.m. THURSDAY, APRIL 15. For Northern Ports, per Taiaroa. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will be closed at Christchurch on April 24th, and will be due in London on Juno Bth. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via Brinditi (for correspondence specially addressed) will be closed at Christchnrch on May Gth, and will be due in London on June 26th. Notice —On and after April 15th the Post-office at Waikari will be open as a Money Order and Savings Bank office. SYDNEY J. DTCK", Chief Postmaster.
