NATIVE LANDS COURT.
KAIAPOI. Fbiday, Maech 19. [Before His Honor Judge Symonds and Hoani Taipua, Native Assessor.] The Court opened at 10 a.m. The claims which had been adjourned from previous sitting were first taken, and the following were struck off the Ngatiwaewae list, viz.—Hana Teura, Ani Teura, Matawera Teura, and Tare Teura. The claims made by the following were allowed :—Te One Betui, Wereta Tainui, Bipani Waipapa, Ihaia Tainui, Te Tura, Hera Horau, Makareta Horau, Buera, Euera Trikapua, Henare Barrett, Timoti Bioni, Eakera Pukenui, Epiha Maark, Kihi Eue Bopata, Te One Bopata, Hera Bopata, Kairemuku Eopata, Meritini Bopata, Hare Bota Pohata, Puneke Huria, Pirihira Huria, Piki Hope, One Horomona, Te Eakupa Horomona, Takere Horomona, Eeihana Tau, Eamara Tan, Honan Tau, Malta Tau, Hape Taitahu, Meriheni Taitahu,- Titapa Taitahu, Momo Taitahu, and Keiaia. Applications mrde by To One Tikau Wira, Ta Ote Wira, Ani Wira, Te Harawora Tarakau, Euti Haimona, Eipeka Tahuna, Mirihana Tahuna, Bin Tahuna, Eakera Tahuna, Eoka Tahuna, Bipaka Te Koeti, and Hoani Koreke Kahn were not supported by sufficient evidence, and disallowed. The Court adjourned at 4.30 p.m. till next day.
