TBr Telbobaph.J WELLINGTON, March 19, Tee following are the vital statistics for the month of February :
The total births in the above boroughs amounted to 437, against 511 in January, being a decrease of 74. The deaths amounted to 217 in February, being an increase of 34 on the number in January. Of the above deaths, males contributed 128, females 89 ; 113 of the deaths wore those of children under 5 years of age, being 52.07 per cent, of the whole number. 89 of them were under 1 year of age
